“A photograph speaks 1,000 words” it’s true, but a photograph also harbours a thousand memories. I arrived in New York early January, missing out on New years eve by just one day, such a shame – but being there to experience the winters first large snow fall was better than anything I could have imagined. I don’t think you have truely experienced New York until you have seen it in a blanket of fresh white snow. While the snow fall is a token for tourists, it is not exactly practical for locals and their every day life, and so, after a few days of snow, it is scrapped off the sidewalks and turns to a disgusting brown mush. Luckily for us, we got to experience it before it turned into a slushy mess. – Please put skipping through Central Park in fresh snow on your list of things to do before you die, you wont regret it.
